Time. Space. Money.

Chairs: David J. Brown and Niku Kashef
As a working artist, juggling the complexities of living in today’s challenging world, what are some of the many ways that you can find the time to work and be supported? This session brings together artists and administrators to offer some of their insights, expertise and offerings, showing some of the paths that you can follow to balance creating art with living life. Looking at the big picture, the presenters categorize creating art into three important components of maintaining a practice: time, space and money.

Panelists:
Lisa Dent (Director, Resources & Award Programs at Creative Capital)
Matt King (Artist, Educator)
Isabel Manalo (Artist, Curator, Founder and Director of The Studio Visit)
Caitlin Strokosch (Executive Director, Alliance of Artist’s Communities)
